Darkest Lace Poem by Marianne Scarfe

Darkest Lace

Rating: 4.3

As the passing day grows quiet
And shadows move with silent grace
The Earth turns slowly onward
Into night
And evening spreads
With gentle hands
Her cloth
Of darkest lace.

Of darkest lace.
