Dark Shade Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Dark Shade

"I shall love you forever"
I wish to utter
Same words with sincere offer
As situation has altered

You are no more near
And I fear
Closing of chapter
In few days after

I love autumn
And there is no reason
To condemn
As it is last turn

I am here on edge of journey
To say simple bye
"I had longed and loved"
That time you did not believe

You hear
When I gently whisper
It was simple truth then
And now you need no proof

Forget that dark shade
That made me dead
Many years have gone by
This is last try
