Dark Science With A Light Meter Poem by Chuck Audette

Dark Science With A Light Meter

Rating: 4.5

indulge my observation
while fusion warms the days
counting micro-Einsteins
(sounds funny to say)
with sunlight overhead
my instrument won't play
excuse me, please
but can't you see
you're standing
in my rays?

This is an unusual and wry poem. I like it very much.

Photo-buff, are we? Long time ago, for me. Great description of the inherent frustrations of the hobby! A quite photogenic poem, Chuck. : ]

Very well constructed. Not everyone is able to perform such delights with the shorter style of poetry.

I think you have a real talent for these short poems. You're able to say so much within such a small space....that's not easy to do. Sincerely, Mary

The rays are coming from the sun - or from you.
