Dark Knight Poem by Shameca Biggs

Dark Knight

Rating: 5.0

Dear Dark knight and black warrior,
Sitting here I now realize the ramifications of my sins.
Sometimes we have to lose just to win.
In finding my heart I lost my goal.
And I fear that finding my goal will shake my soul.
So what then are we here for? Why did we meet?
Why do stars fall? Why do grown men weep?
In the end you're still my sunrise.
Through all the pain through all the lies.
Awake at 5am I realize... The source of our own inner strength... Comes from each painful demise.
You. My sunrise.
Sons that Rise.
Sincerely, Your soul sister
