Dark Hallway Poem by John Foster

Dark Hallway

I walk down a Dark Hallway
I shout
But there is no one to hear me
I fall and trip
But there is no one to help me up
I walk down a Dark Hallway
I cry
But there is No one there to care
I'm confused
But there is No one to straighten it out
I walk down a Dark Hallway
I'm alone
But there is no one to comfort me
I tried to reach out
but there is no one there
I walk down a Dark Hallway
I'm frightened
But there is no one to calm me down
I'm in trouble
but there is no to say 'it's ok'
I've walked down a Dark Hallway
