Dark Clouds Poem by BARBARA ALVARADO

Dark Clouds

Drops of rain forever on my face, sun shining out doors
Never took over my rain it stayed in place.
I had to unlock the door and fly above these lonely streets.
Pinch myself because I am finally free.in your cage I could no longer stay, with doors wide open you watch me fly away.black clouds over my head are now gone. Its time for me myself to carry on. Locked no longer in that awful place. I now found myself with sun shining now always on my face
