Dancing On Thin Ice Poem by David Darbyshire

Dancing On Thin Ice

Rating: 5.0

We met by the pond,
frozen which was nice.
The full moon light,
the surface of the ice.

Our hearts skipped a beat,
as we ran upon the ice.
It moaned beneath our feet,
the moonlight made it nice.

I thought I'd make my move,
she was very very nice.
I put my hands back in my pockets,
I could see I was dancing on thin ice.

Dave, this poem shows that you are able to write deep and meaningful stuff. I like this new style. As for the poem, sometimes we have to take risks to get what we want, even if it means walking on thin ice. I just hope it doesn't crack, that's all..... Love, Fran the Fan xx
