Dancing On Air Poem by David Harris

Dancing On Air

Rating: 5.0

I’m dancing on air
whenever you are near me.
I’m dancing on air
whenever you call my name.
My feet are lifted into the clouds
and heaven is only a step away
whenever I see you.
I’m dancing on air
whenever you greet me.
I’m dancing on air
knowing you are there.
I am as light as a feather
on this side of paradise
floating my way to greet you
whenever you call my name.

You are as light as a feather in this poem David and I see clouds are very much part of this poem which evoke beautiful imagery. The poem sings to me too with its flowing meter and style. 10 love Karin

Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers told me in private that you wrote this one just for them! Wonderful imagery in this. Love the meter too; just right.
