Dancing In The Dark Poem by Kasim Khan

Dancing In The Dark

Miles apart, confused and all alone
In my heart, you're tied in my soul
Stolen love, shared to other sources
Fading slowly, and ending in courses
Sweet lies and sweeter charms
Embrace to kill you in her arms
She never sings aloud, with others in the park
She often sings alone, and dances in the dark

Questions of the heart, and a lover's tale to tell,
Where do I run, when I'm locked in your spell?
What if I am, the writer of your chapter?
Would you let us be together?
What If I am the fuel for your fire?
Would you let us burn forever?
Would you let us burn forever?

Miles apart, refused and on my own
Biten my heart, and chewed on my soul
Stolen love, cursed by jealous forces
Fading slowly and ending in courses
Sweet lies and sweeter charms
Embrace to kill you in her arms
She never sings aloud, with others in the park
She often sings alone and dances in the dark
