Dancing In Flowers At A Lover’s Fair

Rating: 5.0

ever since all Ken's dancing on ship cruises
every time you mention dancing I have visions
of legendary Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers
I see them dance floral scenes among flowers

Dear Ken I still remember your joy dancing on your cruise ship holiday and we discussed your dancing like Fred and Ginger then. And Christchurch had an earthquake and this destination was changed. I will not know the city if I get home. It was a garden city. When I was in LA I visited the Grey Ghost, the Queen Mary, stood on the dance floor and I thought of Fred and Ginger dancing there on that very floor years earlier. They gave so many joy, happiness in dance, now Hollywood is often dark themes, bang bang constant violence. The great silver screen years of Hollywood are gone, and we pay tribute to Bollywood instead, real inspiring movies, or drama with a great script and message. It was Bollywood who gifted us with the power hope and beauty of 'My Name Is Khan'. A message with potential consequences of hate perpetuating violence and the power of love in community in the face of natural disaster and adversity. Bollywood wins my Oscar. Lessons in beauty love tolerance remain my preferred viewing movie themes.
