Dance At The Water's Edge Poem by Phillip Hoffeld

Dance At The Water's Edge

Rating: 5.0

Dance at the Water's edge,
Ev'ry day and ev'ry hour,
Even when the Sun is high
You bring an angry show'r.

Dance at the Water's edge,
While the Children laugh and play,
Laughing as their kites go high,
But nothing will You say.

Dance at the Water's edge
Now and evermore,
You are here and ev'rywhere,
Dancing at the Shore.

Dance at the Water's edge,
As happy as can be;
When I dance into Your arms,
Dear Wind, remember me.

Amazingly written. The symbolism is fantastic. I don't believe I have read this one.
