Dance Poem by Bryony Sheldon

Dance

Rating: 4.5

Vanilla Coke & Pick 'n' Mix
Show me one of those magic tricks
Then I'll take you right by the hips
And dance, & dance, & dance 'til the mourning comes!

Pink Pepsi; you're so sickly sweet
Sticky fingers; you trick and treat
Got me bouncin', stompin' to the beat
We'll dance, we dance, we dance 'til the mourning comes!

Little Starmix, you're my pick-me-up
Let me take a sip from your paper cup
'Cos I seen you lookin' just a bit too much
So let's dance, let's dance, let's dance 'til the mourning comes!

Cream soda, yeah I love your taste
I know why you're called Miss After Eight
You're the candy apple that Adam ate
So let's dance,
Slow dance,
Hold hands,
And dance 'til the mourning comes!

Well Bryony it's certainly a one of a kind write and there's nothing wrong with that. A little bit of originality and va va voom makes the poetry world go round. And the words Sugar Rush come to mind.10++. Many thanks and take care.
