Dancing Like A Queen Poem by Noluyolo Mapuma

Dancing Like A Queen

Rating: 4.6

Dancing like a Queen; facing life like king; taking beatings, challenges, obstacles; But dancing like a Queen. Living in a dream so fast; flying like leaf leaving your past; dancing like Queen; looking straight foward; looking beyond the struggles and failures; carrying your cross like a trusted soldier; overcoming battles leaving legacies; but dancing like Queen. Like a giraffee your head held so high; walking through dark paths, searching in tall bushes; taking every chance of hapiness; but dancing like queen. Mountains so high you climb; taking over your world, your ways paved; dreams fulfilled, goals achieved; enjoying life in the young nation and dancing like a Queen. Crowned with grace, honoured with praise; living in Christ and forever dancing like a Queen.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I accepted Christ as my saviour and I allowed him to take control over my life, and his yoke is easy and his burdens are lighter. I received joy and I found freedom and I'm dancing like a Queen. Everyday I feel on top of the world because of this joy I have. That's when I wrote this poem.
