Damage Done
The damage done
The bridges burned
The options gone
The lessons learned
The cards been dealt
The dice been cast
The banned feelings felt
The erasing of past
My trust
Lies crushed
And hushed
I lust
For rush…

The erasing of past That's my favorite line, but the last stanza is intensely beautiful too. Thanks for sharing.
