Daisies In The Spring Poem by hidden poet

Daisies In The Spring

Young ones are innocent;
like daisies in the spring.

Old ones are tainted;
like roadside snow in winter.

Why do old ones seek to be young?
do they wish for the vitality,
the flexibility they once had?

No.

They are searching for something deeper,
something much harder to attain.
They want the innocence of daisies in the spring.
