Daily Pain Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Daily Pain

Will I again awake in pain,
To face a brand new day?
Or will I be lucky next time,
As in my bed, this Morn, I lay?

This Morn I awoke at Five A.M.,
‘Pins and Needles' shooting down my legs,
What e're I do to ease the pain
Has not brought me comfort yet.

Prayers by me, and by others too,
I know, are daily said,
But HIS Ear has not found our Sound,
Or HIS Action is delayed yet.

Patience ~ I know I must have,
But when in pain, that Virtue is gone,
My Faith again tested is,
As is the Faith of Everyone.

Hospital Tests I've recently had,
More Tests I've yet to endure,
Will the Results determine the Cause?
Will the doctors find me a new Cure?

A Cure for the Pain, Relief for its Cause,
To let me get my night's sleep. ~
Or will I awake, daily ~ in pain?
With ‘Pins and Needles' from my knees to my feet?
