Daily Eating (Haiku) Poem by Madathil Rajendran Nair

Daily Eating (Haiku)

Rating: 4.0

Break-fast they call it
Fast it was because I slept
Break-sleep it should be

It goes by the name
Lunch, even if you did brunch
Marks wasted day’s waist

It is dinner time
Over-eating sure assures
A show of nightmares

i'm so sorry if too much eating gives you nightmares. and you need to buy a larger size suit......EVERY MONTH! ? bulimia might help. try it. ============================================== egg, over-easy; so what if stomach's queasy? first meal must be had. lunch or brunch? ok. time for day's second meal. energy for play! dinner? supper? same! must eat third time. don't be lame. eating: Homo sapiens' game. =================== thanks for a journey through one's day of supporting restaurants and grocery stores. think of THEM....next time you consider skipping a meal! don't just think of yourself! ! ! bri :)

Nice haikus over eating in three beautiful morsels of three lines each. Now one must be ready to fast.
