Daggers Of Bayonets Poem by pittbull pittman

Daggers Of Bayonets

hats of green and leaves
no 'white' in spectrum of light
tread of black glistened with spit
pointed knives of death
bullets with no names listed
bullets that know many names listed
Nixon, Bush, Roosevelt, Teddy are all the same
ramparts not such waiting
no purple, no dawn, for the dead
first wives lament
Tears of red strained by the clear
daggers of eyes, daggers of pain, daggers blood not with stain
vet con, nazi's, the mother of battles,1812s of few
pointed daggers of hope wasted on tears
