Rain drops hiding my tears
Holding inside deep, all of my fears
Of doom and gloom I write
Dark heavy clouds, no sunlight.
Walls are moving in,
Holding captive all of my sins
Darkness pervades
No sunshine to cast any shade.
In the darkness, no light
Save your smile so bright
I scribe the blues in gloom
Finger pointing inwards, indicating doom.
Time rushes by fast,
More now behind, in the past
Try to keep your mind light
Let your dreams take flight.
Poignant but look how gr8 it turned out to b as a poem so marvelous in flow n rhymin.

what an oblique title Robert! i must say it is the brand of life. isn't it? D & G...but as Hemingway puts it: The Sun Also Rises... your adherence to the rhyming school of thought is the vital sign of your poetry...in these times of Free-for-all...as far as new forms of poetry are concerned...it's good: Try to keep your mind light...
