D-Beast-Ro Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

D-Beast-Ro

D-Beast-Ro

A big round piece of trunk
Makes table inside this restaurant,
Not so thick but full, round.

And I sit in waiting
A poet's observing.

Let me shed some more light
This was my working call.

So sat thought with questions:
Who owns it, who runs it, why is so?

Sure dirty and walls bare
Were brick, plaster, some frames
Too simple and basic
And floor dust dirty but still
Crowded as fashion, role model.

Pretend
Pretend
Pretend

To be in a cottage
In Salem, in village
In nature…

Sat idle…looked around
And observed with question on the road
I flew to past and present, to cosmos:
"Why raping the nature if it is lovely?
