Cyclones And Floods Poem by ben siemsen

cyclones can be dangerous and deadly
as well as fierce as a tropical
cyclone ripping through cities and towns
wrecking everything in its path
before coming to an errupt
end

floods can leave a trail of debris
behind after the heavy rain
that has been there and homes
have been ruined from the ambush
that occured days or weeks ago
when people return to their houses
to see them in ruins or have stuff taken

cyclones are the most deadiest
to wath as they leave people laying
under their ruined homes
dead or injured or waiting to be found
by recuers who are looking for any survivers
from the cyclones

floods can be heart renchening
for some to watch their friends
and cars to swim or drive through
as the current pushes them further
away from high grounds where they
were standing or parked
