Cycle Of Universe Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Cycle Of Universe

Laying in the lap of dreams
Dried hopes survive
One touch of a golden feather
rinse in colored rays
of a bright tomorrow
Following the sandy path
that marks water from soil
setting sun makes the thought
of a new day very sure
A dripping light
from the blade of a leaf
tearing the heart of delight
shines away the hazy dryness
Every new day begins
with a flare somewhere far
beyond horizon nurtured
solely to nourish the mud
and rain that cycles this universe
