Cycle (Happiness) Poem by Cheryl Renaud

Cycle (Happiness)

Always, as if to never wish to
betray the will of its being,
though it may seem at times
squeezed into a little corner, hugged
I'm relieved to sense it all around me
to spring as an archive of my dreams
with an awareness so great
offering a lift like a fall so gentle
into this round, wild dominion
I am overwhelmed before conquered
shedding achorus upon this basket meadow
ever meant so much to me
to watch God smile like Buddha,
thousands of them rising from their knees
far unjaded as the twilights in December.
