I've not lost sight of reality,
For still my mind is strong
It's my feelings that consume me
Forever peace I long
It's true I'm not a bad kid,
Nor do I enjoy my pain,
Yet, here I am, alone again,
And, for that, I'm not so sane.

I started this poem so long ago,
When, still, I was with you
So sure I knew what loneliness was,
I've encountered one anew
You were my sweet,
And to me, sweet you were,
Though now we're barely strangers,
I'll try to move on, I'll try to forget,
But you've put my love in danger....
