Cupcake Capers© Poem by Roann Mendriq

Cupcake Capers©

O little bit of sweet delight!
O airy little kiss of taste!
O pretty little biscuit bite!
That vanishes in genteel haste.

Crowned with palest frosted ice,
Dressed in neat and prim pink pleats,
Dusted with a touch of spice,
A favourite of all tea-time treats!

Arrayed upon a porcelain platter,
like ladies at an evening dance;
Vying eyes won't cease to flatter,
A piece of good taste at a glance.

I'll have one more, for Heaven's sake,
-that lemon glazed coconut cupcake!
