Culprit

The world is burning to the ground
No one makes a sound
In a place far away
The ones who cried will say
Once in a while the world must burn
Then once more it can turn
Friends all gone
And all along
You never said a word
Thought things absurd
Now the world is falling into ash
Just to be swept into the trash
And no one takes the blame
Just one more to name
But you are the culprit.

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
