Cuckoo Poem by Phil Soar

Cuckoo

Her mind inflamed with Anger
The bird was mystified
She had laid an egg and sat on it
That cannot be denied
But the fledging was enormous
There was nothing she could do
And all that she heard in the distance
Was the sound of a Cuckoo
