Crystal Meets World
When it happened
I thought, lord!
what's the world coming to?
I knew things were bad
but you see, at the same time -
I really didn't
I had been floating around
in my own crystal bubble
thinking, this world could never touch me
But, then it happened,
happened out of the blue, in a shocking way
the world - crashed into my bubble head on
and shattered it, to crystal bits

Your poem is a sensitive way to make us think outside our normal frame of reference. It coaxes us, it invites us, it nudges us in the right direction.
