Crystal Blue Eyes Poem by Daniel Richmond

Crystal Blue Eyes

I've written about her
A life in a song
I think not of her daily
But all day long

I've written about her
And all that she is
Sometimes a puzzle
While others a quiz

I've written about her
No thought of dispair
I think of her now
And she takes me there

I've written about her
And colors she'd hail
Sometimes pink
With shades of pale

I've written about her
Ageless and wise
And I see her now
Through crystal blue eyes

I've written about her
This truth is such woe
She really is gone
And I miss her so
