Crying In Silence Poem by Tracia Love Shalom

Crying In Silence

Silence through hurt
The torture of souls
A door that is closed
Only truth can unlock

The suffering in silence
And the pain to endure
Attack from all angles
And the fear to get help

Silence through the eyes
And the hearts that are heavy
A parade all so real
Pretending for an audience

Intimidation, knocking confidence
The destroying of others
Cries of the wounded
Let your love heal them all

Forgiveness of the innocent
Forgetting each tormentor
And a life they now share
Filled with joy to the unknown
