Cry Wolf Poem by Damian Cranney

Cry Wolf

There was a young Cestrian youth
Who found difficulty telling the truth,
It happened so often, his friends had forgotten.
To give credence to anything he said
Then one day he needed, them all to believe him
He found that he needed a pound,
His lies had proceeded, the belief that was needed
For confidence at this request,
His friends they just sniggered, He found himself jiggered
And no one was found, Who would lend him that pound.
