Cry No More Poem by Macwolls Kay

Cry No More

Cry no more,
Shed no tears,
My beautiful people,
Children of the sun.

Cry no more,
Dry your tears,
It's over for now,
Calm has come.

Cry no more,
Mother of destruction,
Is fast a sleep,
She took it all,
She showed no mercy.

Who are you if
I may ask? ,
You drowned their oxen,
You burried their home,
You even took an innocent child,
You shattered their dreams,
You left them helpless.

Mother of creation,
Mother of nature,
Your winds so strong,
Your waters mighty,
Your rays penetrating,
Your cold biting.

You take the young,
You take the old,
You know no color,
Yo know no race.

But to my people,
Cry no more,
what must be must be
She's come before,
She will come again.
