Crusty Old Man Wake Up Call Poem by Terence George Craddock

Crusty Old Man Wake Up Call

Rating: 5.0

night sleep broken late retiring
multitude of moves on mind unsettled
rising for first early morning coffee

crusty old man wake up shower
red eyes will not restore in water
working hard needs more sleep better

just washed tired wake up morning away
need to be productive fresher to face this day
projects pending will not quiet remain at bay

all it took was turned on hot water
shampoo a flannel soap in that order
energy restored from discarded disorder
