Crusin’ Mode Poem by Marilyn Lott

Crusin’ Mode

Rating: 5.0

I love to take a country drive
Just sorta moseying along
I always click on the radio
Listen to old country songs

Passing by quaint rustic barns
Many in great disrepair
Window down, breeze blowing
I don’t have a single care

Just me and nature is all
That it takes to make me smile
Down those old worn country roads
If only just for a little while

Windmills picking up the pace
As a sturdy wind kicks up
And if I get a little thirsty then
I just reach for my coffee cup

The afternoon seems to fade away
As I drive on that country road
Along with some country music
Puts me in a cruisin’ mode!
