Crumbs Of Bread Poem by Fahad AlHafiz

Crumbs Of Bread

Rating: 5.0

Appearing as foul creatures
The street Beggers
Day and night they’re meant to strive
On crumbs of bread they must survive

In wintry cold nights, uncoated
They sleep lay unheated
A loaf of bread is all that they want
Afford anything, but the crumbs, they cant

In summer, the scorching heat
Burns, but the're on feet
Begging every single stone heart they could
And collect crumbs of bread, they should

And Some physically deranged
Some mentally challenged
But to fill their stomachs they all must crawl
Because the crumbs of bread is same for all

But what do we do all through
We remain untrue
Lets share what we got one fine night
And have crumbs of bread in our own diet

Great poem. Wonderfully conceived. I liked it for its remarkable imagery and decent style. Rated it 10. TFS..... Kindly read and rate my poem 'A busy street' on page 1.
