Crumbs Poem by Paul Reed

Crumbs

With these crumbs that are left to us
We will feed gloriously
And, as if the hanging boughs never shimmered,
We will ignore the rights and wrongs
The fortitude and cowardice
The bold and the meek
The kind things
And the hurt;
And we will carry on.
