RoseAnn V. Shawiak (October 6,1950 / New Jersey)
Weakened by devastation, trying to exist,
yet having a difficult time of it.
At times suffocating and praying for air.
Burning deeply set within me, I try to
walk through it, but I can't always manage.
Yet, here I am, still hoping to get through
everything before expiring and leaving this
crucial world of reality.
