Crossroads Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Crossroads

Rating: 4.5

I'm at crossroads
In life
In a land forlorn
Alone and torn
Far… far away
From the buzz of life
No one in sight
To turn for help
All signs faded, unreadable
A cold winter day
A cloud filled sky
Things look bleak
I look out for a break.

The peeping sun's pencil of rays
Making a spectacular laser show
At the horizon yonder
The paths are many
Which one to take?
I take delight
In this unfettered freedom
To decide
At this juncture in life
Many are nature's ways
Every untrodden path's filled
With unbounded beauty
What a thrill it is to continue
This unending journey
To tap the unknown…
I'm then happy
To be at the crossroads.

A beautiful thought provoking write. We are at the juncture of life and pass our days in taking decision. Like it much. Indeed a grand write.
