Crooked Stick And All Poem by isaac gracie

Crooked Stick And All

Where they gracefully land in old age
At the foot of a growing mountain
With their crooked stick between their two crooked legs
And sullen eyes pinned toward a changing soil
Where the earth will open up
Lead them down
And swallow them whole
Crooked stick and all

Too old to make a fort of pillows and duvets
