Crooked Smile Poem by Brianna Stuckey

Crooked Smile

I say it once,
I say it twice,
I say it as I run over Three Blind Mice;

I say it a third,
I say it a fourth,
I say it as I make hit-n-runs heading north;

I say it a fifth,
I say it a sixth,
I say it as I dance on the graves of people, none will miss;

I say it a seventh,
I say it a eighth,
I say it as I lick my lips, remembering the heart I ate;

I say it as your thoughts twirl and swirl.
I say it as the blood roars and soars through my monster veins.
I say I was behind your greatest pains.

I say it as I walk a crooked mile,
I killed you all with a crooked smile.
