Crescent Moon Poem by Pacific Hernandez

Crescent Moon

Oh! Crescent Moon, I envy you
Where you are bound, I wish I’d go
Calmly you sail the sea of night
Roughly I sail the seas of life
Up there so smooth you sail along
Down here we ride and fight the storms

If certainty's your port of call
Take me aboard
And keep me from
A fate to me unknown

Pick up my woes
and on the high seas
All of them jettison

Please take my love
And bring it to one
Who's in a distant shore
