Credit Crisis Poem by Jim O'Donnell

Credit Crisis

Rating: 3.0

Credit crisis what can I say
People losing there jobs each day
Families now on the dole
Just what does the future hold?

Banks are crashing businesses too
Just what is a man to do?
Desperately trying to find a job
Only to be told “sod off”!

The family life is under stress
Oh my goodness what a mess
Fuel prices rising food bills too
Again what is a man to do?

Scrimping around to make a bob
Cannot get a bloody job
Finding one that’s safe and sound
Not too many of them around

The safest job there is today
Is working for Her Majesty
Sitting safe behind a desk
Finding jobs for all the rest
