Crawl Poem by Nez Nut

Crawl

you wake from your dream
screaming and wailing for something
you twist and you turn
and make yourself aheard
you hit and you throw with all your might
only coz you cannot reach the toy outside
the colourful round play boy
he lays there with his plastic smile
waiting for you to come around
you scream and reach and cry and fight
but never manages to reach the boy
you start to turn and twist and squish all the little tiny toys in your sleep
crawl baby crawl
you hear a woman say
as you move you bum away
away from the bed and toward the air
you move like a four leggd bear
left and rigt and right and left you think
till you finally reach your thing
you took the toy and laugh out loud
all i had to do was to crawl thought the child
he swung the boy and bit a leg
and then suddenly
the boy toy made a craking sound
that made the baby's tears drip out.
