Cradle The Silence Poem by Daisy Pereira

Cradle The Silence

I am sitting near to you
watching every breathe of you
catching the dancing moon
and tiny stars in my palm
only for you
baby sleep slow and gentle

for the night is too heavy with sadness

i have only a dying light left
burning of my own heart
for your quiet sleep
will that be enough?
