Country Girl (At Heart) Poem by Rebecca Ryan

Country Girl (At Heart)

Rating: 4.5

vs.1 I don't want no riches, I don't need no fame.
I ain't no golddigger, and I think that Barbie dolls are lame.
I don't wear no jewelry, except for my earrings.
I don't buy expensive clothes; I get 'em cheap.
(chorus)
'Cause I'm a country girl at heart,
Yeah, I like to play it rough.
I work out all the time,
So my muscles look tough 'n stuff.
I don't make big bucks,
But I have enough to get through.
I got everything I need,
Which should include love from you.
vs.2 I ain't no fru-fru, I'm not ALL about pink.
I don't want no convertible, big trucks are better, I think.
Or even if I had a Harley, that'd be just fine.
I'd wear a leather jacket and boots to attract some my type.
(chorus)
(instrumental)
vs.3 When I get married, I'mma have a blast.
I won't take things TOO slow, but I won't take it THAT fast.
I'll wear my short-shorts up under my dress.
And I'll make sure to take a tank top 'cause that idea is best.
(chorus) x2
Yeah, I'm a country girl at heart,
And I need my love from you!
