I try to count my blessings
And express my gratitude for them who come on my way
To cheer me up when down
These souls always have helped me keep my worries at bay
no they did not frown
Always comforted me with their sayings
They are my teachers
My seniors
Who helped me thick and thin
Or else the world would seem mean
When your friend desert you
Life seems blue
But the balm offered by ma'am
Always soothes in distress
I wish her happiness
