Could There Be? Poem by Richard Goolsby

Could There Be?

Could there be something here,
Who knows if we shall find,
If we were ment to be,
Or if it should be left behind.

Left behind for the miles,
The distance that's in-between,
Who know it could be perfect,
A love none has ever seen.

Like the pages from a book,
Where a great love story is told,
One that's forever,
And never grows old.

Who knows what could happen,
As I sit back and sigh,
I guess we may never know,
For if we never try.

I guess this way there is no pain,
Or never nothing lost,
Besides what could be,
Sometimes u got to count the cost.
