could do with a bit of cheering
this bunch of broken branches
sweep away in silliness all sad sad souls
lingering in the corners of this song
I sing from the depths of all sorrow
from the sheer magnificence of experience
I cry out
life!
bring forth thy miracles
in spectacular rains of sentiment
let me feel! let me live! let me hear every sad sad song
and weep while I may
so that some other day
I will laugh all sadness away
cheer up
and smile
from the sheer joy
of being, feeling, dreaming, enjoying
of knowing:
sometimes sadness is a wonderful thing
such a beautiful beautiful experience
a life filled with emotions
