Cotton Field Poem by Pirate Love Magic Man

Cotton Field

When I was a young lad,
My grandma went to the hospital,
And I had a a dream, a vision,
It was there in that very room,
As she lay,
I held her hand, as she left,
To heavenly fields of cotton,
To play,
Even now shes still there,
Cause I was too affraid,
To go say,
'GOODBEY'

I was very young when my dad died and I didnt believe my mom that he was dieing... I still dont... maybe that is childish but I think my mom took me away from my dad and he didnt die. so I know of the feeling I guess. Purkey Girl

Saying Good-Bye to a loved one that is sick is very hard. Not many people can do because they can't grasp the fact that that person is dying. Beautiful Poem Thanks for sharing. -Brie
