Contradiction! Poem by Dr.V.K. Kanniappan

Contradiction!

My mother's father married my father's sister,
But she is not my father's own sister, but stepsister.
My father married his sister's daughter,
but not his own sister, but stepsister!

My father's sister is my aunt,
but she is his stepsister, so I call her step-aunt!
One can marry his sister's daughter
and his aunt's daughter in our culture!

My father's sister has one younger daughter
who is anyway my aunt's daughter!
Since my father has married his sister's elder daughter,
Can I marry my aunt's younger daughter?

She (aunt's younger daughter) is my mother's sister…!
There is absolute contradiction!
My advice is that ‘one should not
marry his own or stepsister's daughter';

So that one will n't miss the chance of marrying
his aunt's beautiful and lovely daughter, Cherry!
Thereby the father's son (me) can marry
father's sister's (aunt's) daughter and be merry!
